When csql is startet either from the command line or interactivly it will define some macros to reflect the database related configuration settings. Thees are:

_CSQL_SYSTEM_X

Identifier for the provider/database system used where X can be
  • MSSQL for Microsoft SQL Server
  • SQLCE for Microsoft SQL Compact Edition
  • SYBASE for Sybase ASE SQL Server
  • ORACLE for Oracle
  • IBMDB2 for IBM/DB2

_CSQL_SERVER

The name of the server/datasource of the connection.

_CSQL_DATABASE

The initial database/catalog of the connection.

_CSQL_USER

The name of the SQL Server login of the database connection.

_CSQL_VERSION

The current version of csql with two digits for the major and minor version e.g. for version 1.2.x.x the definition is 0102.
